This would not have been somewhere I would've thought to go for brunch, but wow is it good. There is an excellent range of options for those who prefer a little heat and those who don't. Great service and love the patio. You'll forget you're right on Manchester, thanks to the privacy wall. There is also a drive through window for picking up online orders, super convenient!
Awesome place .. Tacos were awesome and tried the breakfast platter. Everything was super.. really nice ambience, fresh and quality food. You order the food from the QR code placed on the table and food will be served by someone when it gets ready. Simple straight cut, stay as long as you want and no one will keep checking. Good parking place on both sides of the restaurant. We ordered Chips and salsa and side order of guacamole. Nashville fried taco (substituted taco with lettuce .. mistake since not much lettuce will replace and flour tacos were nice and freshly made). Not great quantity but decent. California taco (lettuce instead of taco) and there was an option to add side taco and replace fried avocado to fresh avocado and it was good quantity and really great ! From the breakfast menu, ordered Migas plate with scrambled eggs, potatoes, beans but it was just ok.. nothing special... Tacos were really good ! Last time I had Jodhpur taco and that was phenomenal ! Overall with the vibe and good fresh yummy, it's a really good place to try out !!!,
It was a lovely day to sit outside. Food was brought out so quickly and the service was great. I ordered the Nashville taco and the Biloxi. So delicious! It's also such a pleasant dining experience for someone gluten free as everything on the menu is GF unless ordered with a flour tortilla. Would highly recommend!
Went to Taco Buddha for happy hour with friends. We loved the patio, even on a hot day there were fans and it's covered nicely. Overall we enjoyed the food and had super speedy service the entire time Tried: Virgin Margaritas, pineapple agua Fresca, Nashville hot chicken taco, fried portobello taco of the month, chips/salsa/queso/guac Loved: the drinks I had were really good, and I really loved the fried portobello taco. The salsa was very smoky and really unique. And the queso and guac on the happy hour menu were a great price to sit and munch on for our group Liked: the Nashville hot chicken taco
A street taco gal just found her new favorite spot! I tried the Galveston and opted for the cauliflower alternative, delicious! Sometimes cauliflower doesn't pack as much flavor, this was not the case, still supported the flavor of the taco. The Jodhpur I was unsure of before ordering but wanted to try something new, it ended up being my favorite part of my meal! The yogurt was minimum and the taco relies more on the mango which made it a great taco for me. The fried avocado was not to my liking though it was still very good. If was just not the texture I was expecting; the dipping sauce was delightful. The service left nothing to be desired, quick as can be and the servers were all very talkative and kind! We opted for inside seating as it was 90degrees but they offered a great outside seating option too.
Wow, I had the best meal at Taco Buddha last night! Since this was my first time visiting, I did not know what to expect, but it definitely exceeded my expectations. My hubby and I have a monthly dinner date with a friend and TB has been on our list for quite some time and so we decided it was time for a visit! Since I had my little pup with me, I was so glad to know they do allow dogs on their patio - which was a nice perk! When we arrived, the parking lot was full so we could not easily find a spot, but did find a nearby street for parking. I went inside to see the hostess and she let us snag a patio table and brought us some water and then shared with us the way to order and told us about the speciality taco. We scanned the QR code and placed our order (multiple tacos, rice and beans, queso, guacamole, and chips along with a pitcher of margaritas to share! Wishing a few minutes, we were starting to receive food at the table and everything looked so good. The queso and guacamole came first and they were both so tasty! When the tacos came out, we were impressed with the size and knew we would be full with all the food we had. I ordered the Biloxi and was so glad I only ordered 1! I added some rice and beans to my basket and topped my taco with some of the queso-it was so good! The flavors were just fire and I cannot stop thinking about that taco. I will be back for sure. Service was good. The drinks were tasty, but the tacos really were the star of the show! The only downside of this visit was that the patio seats are just not comfortable. They are basically low bar stools, with no back - so it was impossible for me to get comfortable. I have a bad back and sitting on that stool for so long was really uncomfortable. I wish they would invest in different chairs or benches to allow people to sit back and relax while enjoying a tasty meal.
Woah, was I pleasantly surprised with the flavor and quality of Taco Buddha. Expectations were far exceeded. Went for date night and was worried the quality would not be there because it definitely has family restaurant and chain restaurant vibes. However, the food is superb. The chips are thicker than your average tortilla chip and served warm. I would've like more salt as there was barely any. The salsa is great. Smoky, with a dash of sweetness. It is not spicy at all, so if you can't handle spicy foods this one is for you! The queso is good. Creamy with pepper chunks swimming inside. Definitely enjoyed it. That being said, it won't knock your socks off, just a good, quality queso. The tacos were incredible. We got 5 tacos for $25 which feels like quite the steal given today's tacos prices. Plus, they are slightly larger than your average street taco. And, they are absolutely loaded with toppings. We tried 5 flavors and all were bursting with flavor. The Jodphur is probably my lowest ranked. It was good, but the flavors were more subtle. The mango salsa atop offered a nice sweetness to the "drier" seasonings used on the chicken. The best were the galveston and nashville. The galveston had citrusy, juicy shrimp accompanied by corn salsa and baja sauce for added creaminess. The nashville also blew me away. I am a nashville hot guy through and through. Well, Taco Buddha, paint me impressed because your nashville hot sauce is top tier. It is oily, smoky, has just enough paprika, and is balanced by the perfect cut of sweetness. It can be difficult to take a food with cultural roots and completely innovate it with worldwide flavors. The team at taco buddha has masterfully xrafted an experimental, well thought out menu of international flavors that meld together seamlessly. The only aspect I was not a fan of were the vibes. It really feels like a family spot for young kids. The drinks are served in plastic cups which is strange for a margarita. However, the food certainly makes up for the feel. Much more casual spot, I wouldn't say it makes for a great date night spot. That being said, the food is insanely solid
Pretty delicious!!!! I love that they had the option to make most tacos gluten free and even lactose free. Started with chips and salsa--it was fine. The salsa lacked flavor and was a bit watery, but the chips were thick and crunchy. Tacos, I ordered the Thai and also the curry taco. The Thai taco was delicious!!!! Honestly the mango on the curry/Indian taco was too much of a contrast against the chicken..it would have tasted much better with more raita and the coleslaw. I did also order a ranch water--but this was a pass. The tequila to liquid ratio was far too little. You order on the QR code at the table, and it delivered right to you! So easy!
My 2nd time at Taco Buddha was somehow better than the first! Friday lunch hour was a bit busy but we parked on the street, got a table quickly, and had great service--the explanations of how to order, questions about I trident's answered, and quick meal delivery! Two tacos worked well for me especially with chips, guacamole, and queso plus the Texas sheet cake! I had the Del Rio and the Baja. The flavors of each taco worked well together satisfying my appetite! Previously I had the Jodhpur which was very good but spicier than I was expecting (a personal problem, not a flavor problem!) We sat on the covered patio and stayed warm and dry during a Missouri spring rain.
What a beautiful patio.. dog friendly too.. the menu is adequate with unique choices like Thailand and Jodhpurs.. We had the Baja, Galveston and Biloxi. The Mexican corn was delicious. I loved the friendly service and tasty tacos.. will be back soon.
